This is from Rick Diamond, a Soul Story Healer. I think it’s fantastic so I wanted to share it with you……
I don’t know what you believe about the Soul. Your beliefs likely come out of your religious or theological or philosophical training, and what your experience has taught you, and what you feel within. I used to think of myself as an independent entity, Rick, contained in Rick’s body, having Rick’s experiences, doing my best with whatever I could figure out.
But in the last number of years, I’ve changed my viewpoint – and it has informed the Story Healing work that I do.
I believe that each of us has a Soul. It’s big. It’s connected to the Source of everything. It’s wise. And we can trust it to guide us. It wants to help us.
Do you see?
You’re not alone; there is something that is helping you.
When I work with people in looking at their stories – the beliefs or patterns or models that have guided them to where they are – we do our best to start in the Soul Space.
When I’m in that place, it’s different from the normal energy that I’ve tended to occupy most of my life.
It’s not about achieving anything or managing anyone.
It’s not about performance or getting it right (or wrong).
It’s about being. Just being. Just being Rick.
When I’m in that Soul Space, I can look at anything I’ve done or said, and I’m not ashamed or angry or anxious. I can look at what I’m doing and where I am, and it’s not personal. My Soul can observe, with love – and I can then choose whether the story that’s brought me to this moment is one that I want to continue, or edit, or jettison.
How do we get to the Soul Space?
I have my ways.
If you’re like all the other people I work with, your Soul is bright and shining and big and powerful and beautiful and wise, and it is a very good teacher. Wanna come explore the Soul Space together?
