I was afraid this was going to be another dance meditation ????. I love the walking meditation, especially since it’s so slow. So I took the path behind our house, leading up to the mountain. I know our topic is flight to Egypt, but what kept coming up for me was the Magnificat. In some interpretations Mary responds to the Angel by saying “My soul magnifies the Lord”. I LOVE that phrase. In fact, it has such an impact on me that I can’t get past it. I pause every time I hear or pray it and sometimes the pause never ends. What does Mary mean by that? I’m open to any suggestions because I can’t figure it out. I just know it’s incredibly beautiful. My Soul magnifies the Lord….Is it just Mary? Or all of us?
